Founded in 1980 by William McBride, Forge Craft Food Service made a name for itself in the Houston area as a premier commercial kitchen design build firm. In 2015 William, looking to expand his business and reach new markets, partnered with Shane Cloud to form the Maven Corporation and expand into Healthcare, Lodging, and Cash and Carry. Forge Craft Food Service is the fIagship company and today reaches across the United States with its signature design, specification, and installation services. 

 
 

Design.

Heather and her design team will meet with the client to understand their concept and requirements in the kitchen. They will work to develop and initial layout, and hold several fine tuning sessions to ensure that the kitchen meets the needs of the end user. The team also coordinates with the client’s architect and other trades to deliver a final design package including MEPs. They work to specify equipment based on the client’s preferences, as well as our industry experience and knowledge of current market trends. The final package submitted to the client includes all relevant food service drawings as well as a complete specification bid to be used during the bid process.

Installation.

Our installation team works across the United States to ensure projects are turned over on time and as specified. We receive all product into one of our regional warehouses, or a client or 3rd party warehouse as needed. Before we come on site, all equipment is assembled and checked for any concealed damage. The installation process only takes 1-2 days at actual job site, as most of the work is done before we arrive- leaving your other trades free to work around us. We will perform a punch list walk through with the client or client representative, ensuring that all needs were met and turned over in 100% perfect condition

Training.

Brian King is our Culinary Resource Specialist, and provides all technical training to the end user at the completed and installed kitchen. He will provide all user manuals in an easy to use format, as well as provide one on one coaching with your team to make sure the equipment is functioning properly, and everyone knows how to perform basic functions as well as cleaning functions on your new kitchen equipment. Brian is available after the initial training to provide support as needed.
